Our Team

Behind every project at JET is a team of people with diverse technical backgrounds. Meet some of our colleagues who design, build, program, test, and implement projects on-site.

Jan, manager

Jan joined JET in 2016 and, together with Henk, built up the engineering department, which focuses on electrical design and PLC programming. Since their parents sold the company to them in 2019, he has been running the business alongside Henk.

At Jan, there’s no middle management between the shop floor and the managers. If you run into a technical problem or have a question about your schedule, you rarely have to wait long for an answer.

“You can just walk in here with a question. Whether it’s about a sign or something completely different. And if you want to help brainstorm a solution, I’ll give you all the space you need to do so.” – Jan

Henk, manager

Henk joined JET in 2016 and, together with Jan, built up the engineering department. Since the acquisition in 2019, he has been running the company alongside Jan.

Henk is also out on the shop floor every day and enjoys rolling up his sleeves and pitching in.

“With us, you don’t have to wait to bring something up. Just talk to us, and we’ll figure it out together. And I’d even be happy to help out at the table myself.” – Henk

Vincent, panel builder at Jansen Electro Techniek

Vincent, sign maker

Vincent builds control panels and control cabinets—ranging from smaller cabinets to complete custom installations—for customers both in the Netherlands and abroad. Right after finishing school, he started working at JET.

“I’ve learned a lot here in the past six months. You’re immediately given the responsibility to see your project through to completion.” – Vincent

John, sign maker

John ensures that all the plans are turned into perfect panels. He builds panels for customers as well as for Jansen Electro Techniek’s internal systems.

Stijn, panel builder at Jansen Electro Techniek

Stijn, sign maker

Stijn used to work as an injection molder and has been working as a sign maker with us since 2025.

“I’ve never regretted changing jobs. I get a lot of opportunities here and a wide variety of assignments. It’s great work in a good atmosphere.” –Stijn

Maarten, panel builder at Jansen Electro Techniek

Maarten, sign maker

Maarten had no experience as a panel builder before he started working at Jansen Electro Techniek. He is now learning the trade on the job and working with colleagues on all kinds of projects.

“We’re given some guidelines for a project here, but other than that, we have a lot of freedom to complete it our own way.” –Maarten

Sonny, panel builder at Jansen Electro Techniek

Sonny, sign maker

Sonny is responsible for assembling and wiring electrical panels. He has been with Jansen Electro Techniek since 2026 and brought 11 years of experience to the company.

“Everything runs smoothly here. We’re always helping each other out, and nothing is too much to ask.” –Sonny

Ken, team leader, sign making

Ken runs the workshop and trains new colleagues in the craft: from sketching to the finished sign. He brought 25 years of experience in sign making with him when he became a team lead at JET.

Michael, PLC programmer at Jansen Electro Techniek

Maikel, PLC Programmer

Maikel has been a PLC programmer at JET since 2022. He is responsible for programming and commissioning electrical systems.

“I really like the family-like atmosphere and the short lines of communication here. I used to have to travel abroad a lot, but now that I work at Jansen, I get to work close to home.” – Maikel

Jimmy, Electrical Designer

Jimmy designs the electrical panels and prepares the work for the panel builders. He brought 15 years of experience as an electrical designer to Jansen Electro Techniek when he started there in early 2026.

“During my first conversation with Jan and Henk, I immediately felt a connection. We think exactly the same way. And I think that’s very important.” – Jimmy
