Our client specializes in designing and installing large-scale solar panel projects for industrial properties. For one of their recent projects, they needed an advanced grid disconnection board to ensure that the solar panel inverters were running in sync with the grid and to secure and link the installation to the green meter.
Jansen Electro Techniek was engaged to develop a custom-made grid disconnection board for the solar panel project. The grid disconnection board was designed to check whether the inverters are running synchronously with the grid, and to switch off the installation in case of asynchronous operation. In addition, the board provides connection to the green current counter and protection of the inverters.
Before the installation started, we performed a thorough cable & short-circuit calculation. The design complied with all applicable Synergrid provisions. We then installed the board and connected it to the general low-voltage board. After some adjustments, we were able to guarantee seamless integration.
